
WCSAR Rescues Snowmobiler After Falling into Mineshaft
On Saturday, the Wasatch County Search and Rescue team and other volunteers came to the rescue of a 53-year-old snowmobiler after he fell into a mineshaft in the Soapstone Basin area, suffering injuries.
The operation lasted 5.5 hours and involved multiple agencies, including Wasatch County Search and Rescue, Summit County Utah Search and Rescue, Intermountain Life Flight, Utah Division of State Parks, South Summit EMS, and the Wasatch County Sheriff’s Office. Read more here
