
Teen Hiker Found Safe in Plumas County
The Plumas County SAR teams found a 16-year-old hiker safe on Monday after she went on a solo hike with her dog in the Lake Basin area and was supposed to come back home on Sunday night, but never returned.

We're glad to hear the hiker is found safe all thanks to the SAR teams in Plumas County. This is a reminder to always bring an emergency bag of essentials if you ever get lost and also, to be safe, please bring someone or a group of people you know with hiking experience to go on a hike with you to prevent you from getting lost.
