Snowmobiler Killed in Colorado Snowmobile Crash
A 38-year-old man has lost his life after his snowmobile crashed in a remote area of Rio Blanco County in Colorado on Sunday. Additionally, he did send an SOS from his iPhone for the SAR team to rescue him, but once the SAR team came to the scene and tried to save him, it was too late.
The crash remains under investigation, as does a separate snowmobile crash in Crested Butte Monday that killed one and injured another. Read more here
We send our deepest condolences to the family and friends of the 38-year-old man. Special thanks to the Rio Blanco County SAR team and other volunteers for doing what they can to save the man.
Please be safe out there everyone!
