
Skier Suffers Serious Injuries After Mount Washington Avalanche
On Saturday, a 30-year-old man was rescued by New Hampshire Fish and Game volunteers along with a US Forest Service Snow Ranger and the National Guard Helicopter after he accidentally triggered an avalanche on Mount Washington which ended with him suffering serious injuries to his legs.
Over four hours after the avalanche was triggered, Mr Torro was safely on board a National Guard helicopter and flown to Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon, New Hampshire. Read more here
