
Skier Rescued After Getting Lost Near Lake Tahoe Resort
SAR Teams rescued a 34-year-old man from San Francisco after skiing in the Kirkwood Ski Resort area and got lost after he went out of bounds, from there, he spent the night due to SAR teams not being able to come to his rescue due to severe weather conditions.
He hiked through several feet of snow until dark and managed to eventually send a message to his friends asking for help, according to the sheriff's office. Read more here
Great work to the SAR teams for rescuing the skier. It's very important to always be prepared for situations like this one in case you get lost.
