
SCSAR Rescues Hiker on Pacific Crest Trail
The Shasta County Search and Rescue team has rescued a 78-year-old female hiker who was stranded on the Pacific Crest Trail.
Garmin Inreach is a satellite communicator used by hikers that enables 2-way text messaging in remote locations and can also be used to trigger SOS messages to a monitoring center. Read more here
