SAR Teams Rescues Hiker After Lake Serene Fall
The Snohomish County Sheriff's Office SAR team rescued a hiker on Sunday night after the individual ventured out alone and fell down a cliff in Lake Serene.
Lake Serene is considered a high lake at an elevation of 2,525 feet and sits under the walls of Mount Index, according to the Washington Department of Fish & Wildlife. Read more here
Great work to the SAR team up in Snohomish County for rescuing the hiker as we wish them a speedy recovery. I have not been to Lake Serene yet, but I've seen pictures of the mesmerizing scenic waters. This place is something to add to my bucket list. As always, please be safe out there!
