
SAR Teams Rescues Climber At Acadia National Park
On Monday, the National Park Service and MDI SAR team rescued a 24-year-old man after he became stranded after falling 50 feet down from South Bubble Mountain.
The National Park Service and MDI Search and Rescue responded and evacuated the man to safety in what Pollock called a “high-angle rescue” using a litter, which is a type of portable stretcher. Read more here
