SAR Team Rescues Man Hanging 700 Ft Above California River
A 19-year-old man was rescued by Placer Co. Sheriff's Office SAR team, along with CAL Fire-Nevada-Yuba-Placer Unit teams after he was seen dangling on a rope at least 730 ft. above the North Fork of the American River at the Foresthill Bridge.
The man who was rescued and his 17-year-old friend were ultimately cited for trespassing on the Foresthill Bridge and the subjects were released without further incident. Read more here
