SAR Team Rescues Hiker From Hypothermia on Mount Washington
A 22-year-old man was rescued by the New Hampshire Fish and Game after the hiker fell 4,500 feet up a trail of Mount Washington where he was treated for hypothermia.
The hiker was wearing numerous layers of frozen clothes and frozen hiking shoes, and it took more than three hours to warm him, officials said. Read more here
Excellent work to the N.H. Fish and Game team for rescuing the man, even if it took 12 hours to come to his rescue. Please make sure to always check the weather before venturing out. Please be safe out there!
