SAR Dive Team Recovers The Body of Swimmer At Warren Falls
On Wednesday night, the Vermont State Police Underwater Recovery team and other volunteers recovered the body of a swimmer at Mad River in Warren Falls after SAR teams launched a search over the weekend for a 35-year-old man from New Jersey who was last seen falling into the river but had to suspend the search on Monday and Tuesday due to heavy rainstorms.
Following the discovery of the body on Wednesday, the state police announcement noted that Warren Falls and the surrounding river area will remain closed at least through Thursday, Aug. 15. Read more here
