




Mushroom Hunter Found Safe Near Mount Hood
After searching for the man for three days, SAR teams from Clackamas County and other volunteers found a 40-year-old mushroom hunter safe on the Eagle Creek Trail after he went hunting with a friend where they split up due to bad weather.
During the search in dense forest and steep terrain, there were periods of high winds, heavy rain and hail, along with dropping temperatures at night, the sheriff's office said. Read more here
