Man Found Dead on Grand Canyon Trail
A 65-year-old man was found dead after he tried to complete his hike from South Rim to the river but was unable to. Furthermore, he did alert the Grand Canyon Communications Center about his whereabouts, but once rescuers were on their way to rescue the man, they found him unresponsive.
National Park Service Rangers were able to trace the 65-year-old’s location to Bright Angel Trail, which is 1 ½ miles north of Havasupai Gardens. Read more here
