Kayaker Rescued Near Keystone Bay
On Monday, Keweenaw County SAR teams and other volunteers came to the aid of a kayaker after the distressed individual became stranded near the Keystone Bay area.
According to a press release from the sheriff’s office, due to favorable weather conditions at that time, the kayaker was quickly located north of Keystone Bay by the Keweenaw County Sheriff’s PWC.
