Ice Climber Rescued on Pitchoff Mountain
On Tuesday, a 73-year-old man was rescued by State Forest Rangers after he went ice climbing on Pitchoff Mountain and fell 30 feet down, injuring his pelvis and leg.
The man, who traveled to the Adirondacks from Massachusetts, sat for about an hour before the rangers got to the scene, she said. Read more here
