
Hunter Found Safe on Columbia Plateau Trail
The SCSO SAR team has found a lost hiker safe on Columbia Plateau Trail after he went missing into the dense fog for 8 hours on Wednesday in Cheney, WA.
The man was eventually located 'cold and tired' on the south side of the trail near South Mullinix Road and South Harmony Road. He declined medical attention but was relieved to be found by deputies, SCSO said. Read more here
Great work to the SAR team in Spokane County for rescuing the man. Remember before you go out, please make sure you have a charged cell phone with you long with a packed bag of essentials, and make sure to let someone know where you are headed just in case you get lost. Please be safe out there!
