Hiker and Dogs Rescued in Marion County
Last week, the Marion County Sheriff's Office SAR team came to the aid of a 41-year-old hiker and his two dogs near Scout Lake after the dogs suffered injuries on their paws where it took several hours for the SAR teams to find them and get them back to safety.
Due to the remote area, searchers had no way to contact the hiker in need of help. Read more here
