The Columbian authorities have found 4 children ages 11 months to 13 years old alive in a jungle after their plane crashed two weeks ago, killing 3 others on board.
Authorities say search teams were able to track the children to a small encampment, where they had made a simple shelter with sticks and leaves, according to a statement from the Colombian Civil Aviation Authority, also called Aerocivil. Read more here
Great work to the Columbian authorities for rescuing the four children. I can't imagine surviving in a jungle or woods for two weeks or even a month, but I commend the children for doing what's best in order to survive. We send our condolences to the families of the three people who were on the plane.
