
Eleven People Rescued While Eight Believed To Drowned in Australia Cyclone
At least 8 Indonesian fishermen are believed to have drowned while 11 fishermen have been rescued by authorities after they spent a week without food on an island due to the cyclone storm that hit the coast of Australia.
Two primitive wooden Indonesian fishing boats were caught in the path of Cyclone Ilsa, which made landfall Friday as Australia's most powerful storm in eight years, with winds gusting at an apparent record of 289 kilometers (180 miles) per hour. Read more here
