Elderly Man Dies After Falling Down At Mount Baldy
Last month, a 75-year-old man died after he fell on a cliff on Mt. Baldy while going on a hike on Sugarloaf Peak trail where he was reported missing right after talking to a friend on the phone while out hiking.
The sheriff department’s West Valley Search and Rescue team was able to located Kopecky’s body somewhere along the trail after he had fallen at least a hundred feet off a steep ridge.
