El Paso SAR Team Rescues Hiker in Pikes Peak
The El Paso SAR team has rescued a hiker near Pikes Peak, Colorado after the individual was stuck in snow on Monday night.
El Paso County Search and Rescue said despite it being June, winter conditions still exist on Pikes Peak. Read more here
If you are planning to travel to the mountain areas where there is still snow, please be prepared and pack an emergency kit just in case you get lost. Great work to the El Paso SAR team for rescuing the hiker. Please be safe out there and happy summer!
