Chevak SAR Team Finds Missing Snowmobiler Safe Near Chevak
A 25-year-old snowmobiler who went missing on Monday after not making it to his destination was found safe on Wednesday by the Chevak SAR team near Chevak after his snowmobile ran out of gas.
Alaska State Troopers were told Monday night that the 25-year-old man left Chevak six hours earlier on a blue and white snowmachine and never arrived at his destination about 21 miles to the north. Read more here
