
Avalanche Kills Three Skiers Near Kootenay Lake
On Monday, RCMP recovered the bodies of three skiers after they were struck by an avalanche near the Kootenay Lake into a tree line.
One group of skiers was able to get out of the way, but the other group of four was swept away into the tree line, RCMP said. Read more here
