Avalanche Kills Snowmobiler in Darland Mountain
On Friday, the Yakima County Sheriff's SAR team recovered the body of a man after an avalanche erupted near the White Pass Ski area in Darland Mountain.
Rescue crews were only able to make it halfway to the avalanche site due to snowdrifts on the roads and trails, the release said. Read more here
