Avalanche Kills Man in Ravalli County
SAR teams of Ravalli County have recovered the body of a 64-year-old man from Utah after the man went out skiing with his group in the Lost Trail Ski area when an avalanche was triggered, swiping the man away.
The victim — who has been identified as David Macfarlane of Park City, Utah — died from injuries sustained in the avalanche before the helicopter arrived, according to a news release. Read more here
