
Avalanche Kills Man in Big Cottonwood Canyon
On Tuesday, SAR teams recovered the body of a 54-year-old man after an avalanche erupted in Big Cottonwood Canyon, killing the man.
“The victim was presumably caught in the avalanche on Tuesday morning, though the exact timing remains uncertain as he was traveling alone,” the Utah Avalanche Center statement says. Read more here
