500 Foot Fall Strands Hikers
A hiker and a companion have been rescued after 500 foot fall and an overnight in sub-zero temperatures.

We are very thankful this rescue ended with both hikers surviving the ordeal. Yet another example of the importance of bringing along a locater beacon or some way to alert help when you run into trouble. Had the pair of hikers not had this device, surely the outcome would have been much different.
